Access to Sendai Sendai is a city in the northeast of Japan and the largest city of this region.

By Airplane: From Tokyo, Narita Airport to Sendai it takes 65 minutes by plane, and there are daily two flights. It is a 17-minute train ride from Sendai airport to the city.
By Shinkansen (Bullet Train): From Tokyo station to Sendai, it takes about 65 minutes to 90 minutes by Shinkansen (Bullet Train).
